Hi, I have 15 years of experience in the mental health field. My passion is helping people feel their best, and I am dedicated to supporting individuals as they grow and improve their lives through a collaborative, empathetic, and compassionate approach. I specialize in working with elderly, adults, teenagers, and children ages 8 and older, with the goal of assisting them in coping with daily emotional and behavioral challenges.
I use a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Adlerian, humanistic, solution-focused, behavioral, emotionally focused, behavioral activation, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, group therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, family therapy, acceptance, and commitment, interpersonal, and psychodynamic therapy. My practice is person-centered and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I am also CPR, First Aid, and AED certified.
My experience spans ABA therapy, life coaching, and behavior coaching, as well as working in residential environments with 15–21 individuals who were court-involved and managing complex mental health concerns and medication needs. I believe that change is essential and often requires stepping onto an uncomfortable path to foster growth. I strive to prepare my clients for change and reassure them that it is okay to start over. I often offer positive affirmations, especially when clients need encouragement or a boost.
I help clients address obstacles such as depression, trauma, behavioral and mood disorders, anger management, low self-esteem and self-awareness, anxiety, family dynamics, and the need for a better understanding of their emotions. I believe that growth and healing come through understanding, validation, and accountability. Learning through reflection and new perspectives enables clients to gain the skills they need to navigate challenging situations.
If you are ready to build new skills and start a new beginning, I invite you to contact me so we can work together to navigate the challenges of daily life.
